The ask
"Spot the problem. Ship the product. Prove the impact." Pivot '26 is the flagship case competition of the IT & Product Management Club. It puts participants in the seat of a product manager at a fast-scaling tech company and asks the question every PM lives with: what do we build next, and why? Teams work on a live-industry case spanning user research, product strategy, prioritisation, go-to-market and success metrics. The online round tests problem framing, solution design, feasibility and business impact. The top ten teams are invited to a campus finale day, where they present to a panel of product leaders and senior managers from the industry. Rules and T&Cs: All work must be original. Any plagiarism, including uncredited use of published material or another team's work, means immediate disqualification. Use of AI tools is permitted for research and drafting but must be disclosed in the appendix. The analysis and recommendations must be the team's own. Team composition is locked once the online round is submitted. No additions, replacements or withdrawals after that point. One submission per team.
